How competitive is entry level jobs for Computer Networking?

If I obtain an Associates degree in Computer Networking and obtain a CCNA, how hard or easy would it be to find a job?

Currently living in Washington, DC.
The reason I’m going for an Associates, or rather Certifications, is because I already have a Bachelor’s. What I’ve read that I really need is work experience so I’m trying to get to that point asap. Thanks, I’ll look into Navy jobs.
